During the Covid-19 pandemic families complied with public health guidelines to stay safe at home which included responding to school and job closures, or shifts to remote work and learning. As a result there was an urgent need to check in with community members, identify their needs and respond accordingly. The MCI Network developed a digital Wellness Check and Tracking Tool to capture the information that was being gathered in real time and feed it back to partners as they planned their responses. Soon the tool was being used across three place based sites at Children’s Bureau-Network Anaheim, Antelope Valley Best Start and the MCI Network. Moving forward the MCI Network will continue to spread the tool to continue to spread the practice of collecting and analyzing data to craft community action and response.
